Over recent years, heavy duty inground "two-post" hydraulic lifts have become the industry standard for maintenance of heavy duty vehicles. This design lift offers maximum accessibility to the undercarriage and wheels for routine vehicle maintenance.

Current environmental concerns regarding soil contamination of these older inground systems is causing a shift from this earlier design to the "above ground" design in many lift applications. High installation costs of inground type lifts and future environmental concerns (requiring soil monitoring in many applications) has hastened the move away from traditional inground two-post lifts. However, the basic premise of driving a vehicle into a clear floor bay, pressing a button to raise the vehicle to the desired work position, and having optimum accessibility to perform the work required (in a safety conscious manner) is what all lift systems would like to achieve.

The LoRiser Lift was designed with the above considerations in mind. It is designed for wheel service and brake work in that the wheel is raised to a maximum height of 24" above the floor.

The LoRiser has been designed using the latest technology in hydraulics to produce the most efficient, dependable, eniromentally friendly lift available for wheel services. A high pressure two stage pump, double acting pistons, and automatic hydraulic locking system are some of the features of this design. Total hydraulic capacity of the system is less than 2 gallons, all double contained in a steel vault and steel reinforced lines. The containment vault is less than 38" below finished floor insuring ease of installation and low costs.

Most shops evaluating this type lift (copared to manually raising/lowering vehicles for wheel service work) feel the time for repair can be reduced by 35%. This offers a significant saving in time and productivity, and is a much safer method for wheel service work on heavy duty vehicles.
